LINK I Really Don't Have Words - Diane Downs's Case. - YouTube

I may be biased, but I think a lot of people raised in religion get screwed up from beign raised ultra-conservative. This is just one example.

I've been binge watching a series called "snapped" .... that series makes this sort of situation seem much more common than I like to think about.

I remember when this happened.
To be honest with you, I don't think Downs upbringing, or religion, had anything to do with her psychosis.
Her malignant narcissism and sociopathic personality are the real reasons.

I agree.

Yup 100%

I agree .... however, I can see how people with narcissistic and psychopathic tendencies would be drawn to and even encouraged by religion.

@Normanbites Sure, but I don't think it's a valid argument here.

"mirror, mirror, on the wall, are you in the running for biggest malignant narcisist of them all" ? did you invent the nasty comment?

not to mention the constant over seasoning with "fucks" and " shits "

but, don't take this personally. its aimed at the entire lame agnostic subculture that pretends to some sort of mental superiority but sits around endlessly reading and commenting on drivel like this. you do know that the ice caps are melting? , ........... right?

@holdenc98
Having a bad day?

@KKGator There usually isn't any argument when the statement starts with "I agree...."

Well, I think religion makes a narcissist and/or sociopath even worse. It teaches them magical thinking and to act on their delusions.
