It's not just USA that gets flooded cities.
Here's a video of a town about 25 miles from my house that got a bit wet yesterday.

(The commentary is from a local station for Moroccan residents.)

Floods are all over the earth and we are likely to see more as the ice caps melt and oceans rise. One of the good things about being in the middle of the US is I'm likely to have ocean front property if things don't calm down soon.

Google maps of the Earth in Tertiary, Pliocene, & etc....a huge inland sea filled most of the central USA
