Money is just a tool… something that is used by a society as a means of exchange. It alone cannot be the “root” of anything, until we begin to greedily lust after it.

Reminded of a joke. A minister complained to a rich member that he did not donate enough. The next week the rich member came to church with $10,000 in $100 bills. The rich member told the minister he was ready to donate and tossed the money in the air. He said whatever stays in the air god keeps, the rest is his.

Actually it's even worse. The love of money is what is the root....all those televangelists, politicians, etc.....

Stupid is as stupid does - there's a lot of stupid out there willing to part with their hard earned dollars to the evil that invented churches.
