Level 8

As long as a significant percentage of the US population is resisting efforts to fight Covid, we should be worried. This might make it more worrisome, we'll see.

If B.1.1.529 is immunity resistant, it doesn't matter. The fact that EU is restricting travel in day one is frightening.

If South Africa says that 90% of the cases are Omicron, that suggests that it is out-competing Delta, which seemed to proliferate better than the original Covid. That would be cause for concern.

Any time a virus mutates that much is a worry, but we need more details. I really think the world of viruses and bacteria have decided there are wayyyy too many humans on this planet. They are more powerful than we are. 🙂 We shall see........
