LINK Kentucky Man Sold Young Daughter, Who Then Gave Birth to Buyer's Baby: Police

(It should be noted that the bible condones fathers selling their daughters)

A Kentucky man was arrested and charged with human trafficking after allegedly selling his juvenile daughter to another man, according to police. Investigators learned that the daughter had given birth in March to what authorities believe was the 20-year-old buyer's baby.

Kentucky State Police said in a news release Wednesday that state troopers and social services initiated an investigation in November after learning that the girl had given birth. She had been living with the man since August 2020 after her 34-year-old father allegedly sold her to him.

The 20-year-old man has been charged with third-degree rape. Authorities did not release the name or age of the girl, but state troopers said that she and her baby are now in foster care, WFIE-TV reported.

Christianity/Catholicism think of people as property. They are something produced by humans so for the benefit of those who produced them. Therefore, such sales of children are allowed. Law thinks of humans as being independent entities with equal rights. Somehow this pathetic society wants to favor the religious view and is poised to do it. Arresting the young man won't help as he was raised in this stuff so of course that's how he saw it (and still does, I'm sure) and now society has to pay for her foster care (I'll bet she doesn't understand why this is happening), the child is traumatized, and everyone loses. This kind of tragedy simply has no solution in Justice and that's why I'm okay with China's treatment of religion. For us it's too late for that so such victims should be made to take therapy and debriefings, as well as careful listening for what the girl wants throughout her counseling, and that ownership aspect of religion loudly attacked.

Similar thing happened in Pennsylvania a few years ago with some ex Amish, but still hard core religious fanatics. The girl/woman had 2 or 3 kids before the facts rolled out.

Yes, the Bible is such a great source of moral wisdom...
