Please, I beg you, defend Putin‘s actions and behavior, not just in recent weeks, but over the last three decades. The bastard is a former KGB operative who despises any negative coverage and consequently has killed the free press in Russia. This motherfucker has attempted to assassinate his political rivals with nuclear toxins and has invaded not just Ukraine but Crimea and Georgia!
If you are unable to call out Putin as the mob boss dictator and criminal that he his, and further declare his invasion of Ukraine as unjustified, immoral and unlawful, your credibility here on this site is in deep Doo Doo.

Will you and your far left friends please back us in the Biden section? At least Biden is doing all he can against Putin.
I agree with your assessment of Putin.
The points I have made are about the interests of Russia, the nation which will continue to exist after Putin.
We cannot let our hatred of Putin blind us to the legitimate interests of Russia. And that is what I see happening here and in the media.
@Krish55 Sadly, what the Russian people “want” is very often dictated to them by their leaders, and those who dare to “want” something different (like more leadership options and a broader democracy) could find themselves under arrest or worse. In any case, most Russians are in the dark about Ukraine as the state media is only spewing Putin’s propaganda. But the truth will come out, and when it does, the Russian people will regret ever trusting Vladimir Putin.

As I’ve repeatedly said, if you think that you aren’t getting accurate reporting, whether from MSNBC, Fox or NPR or any other US-based outlet, follow the coverage coming out of Europe and see what Russia’s neighbors are reporting.
