LINK Marijuana for Medical Use May Result in Rapid Onset of Addiction

I have a big problem with this article. It equates addiction and use disorder as the same thing. You get more of a physical withdrawal symptom from the sugar in cookies than you do from cannabis. Do people over use cannabis? Sure they do but overuse doesn't equate to addiction. If it did we'd have a lot of people with clinical cases of addiction for all kinds of things all over the place.

Same people who were tech advisors on the set of "Reefer Madness"?!?

Maybe those concerned about addiction would be wiser to consider monitoring users for "comorbid disorders" and treat them for those disorders rather than to assume marijuana use initiates or increases the disorders.

They define addiction disorder as drug tolerance? Bullshit.
