Even if it were 100% true that we instigated this all to get a deal to sell gas to the EU, that STILL doesn't mean Russia had to take the bait and certainly doesn't mean they need to bomb maternity wards. It may well be more of the Madison Avenue style false news like Iraqi WMD to give America the excuse for a preemptive nuking of N. Korea or it may be the result of not having come to terms & ended a 70 year old war started by America in reaction to N.Korean desire for ethnic unification & support of rebelling S. Koreans.
Ukraine sounds like a rewrite of the Korean script.
