It’s an observation about the way his followers reinvented their faith hero to suit their own needs, as opposed to doing the hard work of improving their own ethics and behaviour to match his alleged example.

@ErichZannIII Jesus was created to keep the Roman citizens docile. He is now being modified to suit the needs of Conservative Christians. The question is, why do we care here?
