Who loves Big Bang Theory?

I’m watching Big Bang Theory. I am watching it right now. It always gets me in a good mood. Who else loves Big Bang Theory?

I never really got it. The laugh track was not helpful. But occasionally it was funny.

Not so much but I do enjoy Young Sheldon, especially for MeeMaw and Missy. The show is SO Texas.

Another thing I love about the show is the fact that some of the characters, such as Sheldon are in fact Atheists.

It is a huge favorite of mine. They did a phenomenal job if casting this thing and who doesnt know someone like that. I know a Sheldon like character in real life that is not Sheldon smart but thinks he is. Very annoying in real life.

Ahh @CandyWorner, that is a great show and I tell you why. About 10 years ago (give or take), I was browsing channels and happened to land on the pilot episode. Loved it but then I thought, there is no way this show will go on for more than one season using Physics as core material for a sitcom, there is just no way ....... Boy, have they proved me wrong !!!! 10 seasons and sadly I think we may be watching the last one. Nothing last forever.....

I think the physics is really more the background with the personality quirks and the issues that result when really nerdy nerds try to relate to the normal world outside their sphere of influence comes into play here. I think it has lasted because who doesn't feel like they are on the outside of the "popular" cliques? We all do regardless of our background.

@AMNOTGOD becauuuse it's a sitcom.... If you're interested in learning Physics then...well, you do the Math here

Level 5

I think Big Bang Theory is a great show. It is well written and the actors are extremely talented too. Reminds of the gang of kids that I grew up with. My favorite comicbook heroes are: Spiderman, The Hulk, The Punisher, Dare Devil, Superman, Batman, and now, Dead Pool. ( Not in any particular order.) I think that Sheldon, Amy, Burnadette, Howard, Raj, and the rest are great characters that play off each other very well while also carrying along the story.

I hadn’t thought about the comic theory. Pretty cool.
I grew up loving comics but was too poor to have very many. I love all the Marvel movies. My favorite s right now are Antman and Deadpool.

@CandyWorner Thanks on the spelling error I made with "Deadpool" ; I am looking forward to seeing the new Deadpool movie.

@CandyWorner I have TV but I don't get regular viewing, I do however have Netflix currently.? I enjoy music on the radio.

Oh, have you ever listened to the entire song by the "Bare Naked Ladies???". It's a great tune, and the lyrics are very pro-evolution.

I think I watched the first 6 series, and then just got bored with it. It is rather formulaic. Basically Friends with nerds.

I don’t watch a lot of tv so when it is on it is very entertaining.

I loved it at first, then meh.

Anti-intellectualism is a sore sport for me. Normalization of intellect is what I want to see--not fetishization.

This makes sense to me.

I love it, great show and it actually has some real science in it. They have an astrophysicist on staff helping with the scientific parts.

DOnt forget Miam Biliak is also a real life neuro scinetist and was actually initially hired to be a consultant on the show and then was cast as Amy, she is brilliant in the role. The episode where she chooses that ugly wedding dress is hilarious.

@misstuffy Oh yes, she is quite brilliant indeed.
