They play for keeps and believe in total scorched earth. Dems like Biden that believe they can be reasoned with or compromised with are either dreaming or just using that as an excuse for inaction. Right now, my money is on the latter, but most Americans are seeing thru the excuses and are going to punish the Dems big time in the next two elections, by either not voting at all or voting for Repubs. The Dems have only themselves to blame. They could have won either time by nominating Bernie, and we might have been able to avoid this collapse, but now it is too late and their corporate donors will be the only ones from the Dem side that will win from the collapse of America. The voters and the Dem pols won't matter anymore as elections will only be a memory.

I'm not shocked at all, but then again, I've been reading Chris Hedges for the last several years, and he's only been warning us about this for at least that long. The only shock is how quickly it's increasing and accelerating.
