The irony in all of this absentee ballot kerfuffle is that the entire process of absentee voting was designed for people that would, very often more than not, vote conservative. Ex-pats, retirees living abroad, people with properties in different states, the military, executives working overseas and wealthy citizens who couldn’t be bothered to stand in line at their local voting precinct are why absentee ballots were created!

Do you remember that kid in gradeschool who always tried to change the rules of the game when he saw he wasn’t going to win? Well, that describes the Republican party today. Nothing but a bunch of childish sore losers who, while claiming that the game is rigged against them, are taking draconian anti-democratic measures to rig the game against everyone else! Lady Liberty is weeping and red state by red state, the Republicans are laughing through their teeth.
