You do not know that southern Africa is mostly hot, or at least temperate year round?
Lesotho is a unique country in that it is the coldest country in Africa, and it is the coldest country in Africa because it has the greatest elevation.
@itsmeagain nnnooooo, ya mean ter say mountains can have cold & snow? Never have I noticed.......
Southern hemisphere is the dead of winter.

Most parts of southern Africa don't get very cold, even in their winters.
