I too am anti Apple. It is overpriced and overhyped. It assumes users are idiots and that Apple knows better. Like many brands, there are better value alternatives.
I have several friends who use Apple products and they are always amazed that my phone will do it everything their phone will do under a different name. They have believed for years that Apple allows them to do things that other people cannot do. My $400 Motorola phone rev5g can do everything they're brand new iPhone can and just as fast. Whoops there's one thing I cannot do it has to be plugged into charge but I plan on getting a pixel next time and it will charge without a cord. I think there's $700 when on sale.
I will also have to concede that my photos may not always be quite as good as theirs but my photos are as good as they need to be.
. . . . hmmmmmmmm, perhaps you might want to rethink things :
Android (ultimately a Google way of collecting oodles of your data) makes it easy to lock-you-out.
I am well aware that Google gathers data on me with every click. Do you think Apple ignores that opportunity with their users?
Regarding the naked child pictures, resolution was possible with proper documentation. Pornographic pedophiles need to be outed. Like any other data-driven process there will always be mistakes.
@Lorajay . . . not news to me
More that most, I am VERY privacy conscious and conscientious.
I have never had ANY Apple or Microsoft products, and don't intend to.
I have been running Linux since the 90s.
That is just weird.
Strange thought - tv cop show, autopsy room, dead person's podcast starts to play from under the covers. Techs are like, "She's alive."
