Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I grew up listening to Maynard Ferguson. His version of MacArthur Park and Eli‘s Coming were two of many songs that stick in my mind. I got to see him very late in his life as he appeared at a nearby high school noted for its jazz bands. Two years later he was gone. What a set of chops the man had! Nobody could ever hit those triple C’s like Maynard!

@Secretguy Mills High School in Millbrae. They had an excellent jazz program there.
