Seven European World Cup teams have abandoned plans to wear rainbow "one love" armbands in a show of inclusion and anti-discrimination after FIFA threatened that players who did so would face sporting sanctions, the soccer associations said in a joint statement Monday.

Come on Europe don't retreat to the Dark Ages.

We won't have to worry about the hate much longer. Earth has set a course and soccer won't be part of it.

Maybe that’s why they are having it in the heat hell of Qatar : preparing for the future.

Well yeah, the longer we change our ways to let climate change continue, the more likely it is that the climate will change to the point where it is no longer a place that support human life anymore.
