As did the Russians show bravery in WWII. Putin has led them down an ugly path much like Hitler did to Germany.
@barjoe Definitely true. Hitler badly underestimated Russia also, because in WW1, The Russians were defeated by the Germans in a number of battles before exiting in 1917 during the Russian Revolution. Hitler and his Generals had guessed Russia would have roughly 200 Wehrmacht (Armed Forces) but in October 1941 they identified 360.
