At least you're man enough to admit the shame. 70 + years ago there was great shame regarding Australian artist's abilities compared to those of overseas born artists, it was known as the great Aussie Cringe & so the artistic diaspora occurred. Or as the old joke stated "you can always tell an Australian from any other nationality - he's the well balanced one who has big chips on left & right shoulders.
@FrayedBear You missed what I said entirely. My remark is that there is nothing greater than Australians telling the US how to run their government. Why would you do this and why would you care? I'm not concerned with your politics but I see Australian TV has shows dedicated to a concern about American politics. Sorry. I don't get it.

@DenoPenno yours is the country & government that won't let other countries democratically elected governments remain in power. Since WWII there are 70 such countries around the world. In 1974 it was Australia's turn when you caused the sacking of the Whitlam government. Currently we have been forced into buying useless nuclear submarines at billions of dollars cost.
She's my representative, insofar as she's working in anyone's interest other than her own, but I've never supported her — not when her only qualification was being born later than everyone else, and certainly not after she started aligning herself with DJT and defending insurrectionists. But, can we all take a moment to appreciate the captioning in the first image for her name — "alistaphonic." I think that's how I'm going to write her name from now on.
