What state do you think is the most Liberal but also has the least amount of hippies?

I'm here in Massachusetts. Hipsters in the Boston area, hippies in western MA. I live in between them, where politically it's essentially rural Alabama unless you're in Worcester, Leominster or Fitchburg.

I don't think it's "state" per se... I think it's city. All states have pockets, but it's the cities that seem to have the most liberals, while the "rural" areas tat are most conservative.

.... probably Oregon or.... Idaho? I know Seattle, Washington is highly liberal but I don't know how many hippies they have in that particular area...
