I think the U.S. is reaching point where laws that are solely based on religious beliefs are beign struck down one after another, especially in terms of gay rights. To create a new religion would probably create more problems over the long run.

Religion in the U.S. is starting to die down. One of the reasons why religious groups have become more vocal is because they are losing the next generation and their vocalness is a sign of their desperation over religion in general waning.

I happen to be a gay man, and i think that continuing to simply discredit religion via reason is working, even if at wha tmay seem a geological pace. We need less religion and fewer religions. We do nto need to create a new one, when progress is already beign made.

That beign said... there is a part o me that would like to see this done just to screw with the haters.
