So does that mean as an atheist, if I start a business, I could legally discriminate against Christians? I mean, I will welcome Jews and Muslims, as well as progressive Christians, but right-winged evangelicals are fair game?

That's how I look at it. I can't understand how some see this as a freedom that they have to discriminate against people.

It's called cognitive dissonance. Religion or ones teaching of religion causes this. It reminds me of the war on Christmas, that Christians can discriminate based upon their faith, but turn the table on them, and it's a hate crime. @Kojaksmom
