Is the steely blue cricket hunter also known as a blue mud wasp? My sister has a lot of them around. I was at her house this afternoon, and was almost constantly accompanied by one or two.

i was asking myself the same question. the mud wasps here in australia have different colours, but the shape seemed familiar.
