I've been bitten and bombed by wild nonvenomous snakes while relocating them. If it were up to me, I'd rather take the bite. Of course, none of those snakes were large tropical snakes.

@AmiSue I've had numerous serpents over time, and they rarely got me - either way. Guess you're just lucky !
