What do you think of snake massages?
To me, it would be my own version of "heaven", as long as the snakes are well-cared for and stress-free in a calm environment.
Never heard of it, but I'd try it.
Me too. Or I would just snuggle with my own snakes.
@graceylou At what does a constrictive snake become dangerous? I've touched snakes and enjoy the feel of their skin (not cold moist as many people imagine) but am cautious about creatures I don't understand.
@charles-arizona Depends on what dangerous actually means to you. Some people say oh no they might bite. In most cases, snakes would bite when surprised, scared, or really hungry and they mistake your hand as their feed. A large/giant constrictor bite can be very painful and damaging. Some constrictors actually have venom but it’s mild enough it doesn’t affect most people but some people do have a reaction to the mild venom, more like an allergic reaction. Putting a large/giant constrictor around your neck can be dangerous as they may constrict for one reason or another, even just to hold on. It’s especially not recommended for small children. I don’t even recommend a small child do that with something like a corn snake. Definitely not without adult supervision. Even the smaller 5-6 ft snakes are extremely powerful. That said, it’s pretty rare that horrible incidents of people being constricted to death actually happen. Bites are pretty common but mostly relatively harmless. Most of the larger snakes are very docile with few exceptions.
