I took six or seven kittens down to Mountain Home yesterday to a Veterinary Clinic to get spayed. That's a 35 mile trip one way, so before I left, I put extra wet and dry food out for Gideon, after he had breakfast. When I got home again, all the food was gone. That cat NEVER leaves any food in his bowl.
My dogs try to pressure me into feeding them earlier & earlier every day....soon we will cross the international Date Line backwards& I will be feeding them twice the day before yesterday...or maybe twice tomorrow, today? Ow ow ow my head hurts!
For my girls, if I am up moving around they think they will be fed. Sometimes they are right, most of the time there is still food in their bowl and I pass right on by. Miss Zelda has been playing with the dry food which tells me she isn't hungry in the least. I am sure there is about a full bag of food under the stove that she has knocked under there with her little games. I probably ought to clean it out one of these days.

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
