My hair is long enough that I pull it back in a scrunchie. Sometimes I forget and the scrunchie spends "part" of the night on my nightstand. Only part of the night cuz the damn cats appropriate it as a toy. After I rescue the scrunchie they will spend hours trying to track it down again. They never do associate it with what is in my hair at the moment. Those twitbirds have shredded more than one of my scrunchies. Gotta love em.
I have long hair & use those 'coated rubber-band' type of ties, & my cat loves them (temporarily, of course, 'til something else gets her attention). I also have to give her the rubber-band from the morning paper when I walk in the door with it. If the paper is in a plastic bag, I have a container near the door w/ extra rubber-bands so as not to disappoint her!
Or twist ties.....
Or hair-ties, or rubber-bands, or anything that drops!
@phxbillcee Yup, & I had one kitty who loved cantaloupe rinds to chase all over the house, & she knew precisely when I was cutting into one.

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
