They are a lot less work and worry and give you more affection and unconditional love. My cats greet me at the door, follow me around and try to stay within sight, want to cuddle and are happy and grateful for my attention.

My sons believed my ex husband when he said that any affection shown toward me made them mamma’s boys and that anything I did was meddling or insert all injurious Freudian claims against mothers.

My kitties are my babies. My kids gave me grands, but I don't see them often enough. Kitties are easier, by far!
