My Lhasa used to have that expression. He has graduated to disinterest when Kimbo tries to rub against him or reaches out with his paw. If Kimbo is persistent he will actually snap at the cat which has been effective so far. I am thankful Kimbo has never attacked back, perhaps the cat knows he was being obnoxious.
My six pound kitten used to rule my 75# golden. That dog looks like Chief used to look when the cat was "bothering" him. I used to tell him, "Dude, you're bigger than she is. She is a snack for you."
