So, a little after 6 AM this morning, Whiskers hops on my bed walks on me starting on my legs up to my head, and is all snuggly and purring. So I give him attention and in a few minutes I am fully awake. At that point he goes and lies between my legs and promptly falls asleep. Leaving me wide awake and not wanting to move, because I don't want to disturb him. A typical morning.

You're a good cat dad. My kitties started checking on me about 8 to make sure I hadn't died. Their food bowls were empty and I was definitely sleeping in.

I'm not one of the designated cat food people.
In our house we have 3 cats now. They tend to lie about having been fed, so my sister feeds them in the evenings, and my nephew feeds them in the mornings. Nobody else is to believe them whatever they say about not having been fed.
