I love this old dude..
TC walked on to our property about 10 years ago.
Headed straight into my son’s room and kicked back on the stairs.
He was Jake’s cat from then on, really..
he doesn’t like being held and he only jumps on my lap if it’s raining, but he was a like rag doll in Jakes arms.
When my son was killed, TC slept by his ashes every night.
If he couldn’t get to them, he slept next to a small, old fashioned suit case that friend made for me, it has pictures of Jake all over it.
There’s a tree planted in my backyard in memory of my son, some of his ashes are with it and this old cat naps around it’s trunk all the time, still.
Such a love..

Animals just seem to know who needs them and give us the most unconditional love. I'm sorry to hear about your son and it's obvious that TC loved him very much. Animals, especially cats, are so loving.

Tigger looks a lot like this cat. I am so Sorry to hear of your son. It is strange the way animals seem to know how things are way before we do. I wish I could really talk to these guys, I am sure they would have a lot to say that would be important. They seem to be a lot smarter than we are, I am coming back as a cat and I will choose any one in this group to be my servant.

Cats do show love, quietly. Sex weeks after my wife died, her Charlie cat sat by the front door, waiting for her return.

Sounds like them two are soul mates, connected on a cellular level. Sleeps under the tree even, wow.

I am sorry for your loss. I lost my only son twenty years ago. My cats didn't know him but they still console me. Cats have great sensitivity.
