I have said for years that cats are capable of deductive reasoning, and have seen various of my cats do this numerous times. I think the only reason that they don't talk is because they don't need to. Sometimes I really believe that they are telepathic. I've seen examples of this way too many times for it not to be true.

@TomMcGiverin We will not be any worse off. At least they do not actively try and kill us.
@dalefvictor My guess is they will settle for enslavement..
Honestly, as someone who has read a lot on animal cognition, pretty sure this can't be real. I don't think the cat brain can process information like that. I could be wrong, I'll have to poke around and see what studies along those lines have been done.

I'll bet Smudge's brain can process like that!
The way I saw it working was if the cat had been called to places from there...like checking to see if food was coming, things like that. I doubt it is a complex building.
Dogs are still in the dark ages using their noses! Cats use tech!
