Another maddening story of white people acting like assholes!

I had a similar experience in 2011 . I had retired in North Carolina in 2007 and went back to Ohio to help a disabled Favorite Uncle . I bought a building in a small town 25 minutes away from Columbus, Ohio in a Shithole Town. Wellston, Ohio . That was my violation, I bought property that a good old boy wanted . It took them almost 3 years ( because I do not drink, do drugs or stupid shit . My Violation, I owned 3 beautiful Dogs, My building was broken into, the dogs taken for almost a Year and a half, the next day I was arrested ( dogs off a leash, they weren't, they were in the building ) . I.was moved 4 counties away to Columbus and Jailed for 5 Months ( I was also beaten by the Now Sheriff and 3 others on tape ) but I was the one jailed . I was kept in jail while they tried to get me to plead to fake charges . During this time my building was broken into ( with help FROM THE PLOICE ) . My tools, Computers, and Vehicles ( Two Pickup Trucks, Comercial Dump Truck, Dozer, Two Trailers, Skid Steer Loaders, a Jeep, and 2 Cars ( One a Mercedes ) . This began a 3 Year Leagal Battle which I lost when my crooked lawyer walked away from my case . All of the above I lost and more . I ended up moving back to North Carolina and left the building and all . But when You have Retired is not the time to lose $150,000 . I can only imagine had I been Black and had I not had a College Education . UNTIL YOU GET INTO THIS CROOKED ASSED "JUSTICE SYSTEM" you have no idea how corrupt and crooked it truly is . These things are not that rare in Jackson County Ohio, or as it turns out the rest of the Country . THIS ENTIRE CROOKED ASSED SYSTEM MUST BE TORN DOWN !

what a tragic story. All the more tragic because it is not an isolated case. I dislike the privatisation of prisons (and nursng homes too for the matter). Government run institutions don't have to run at a profit and there is usually more accountability. USA has more prisons per capita because they are a profit making enterprise. No one should be in jail unless they are a danger to the community. There are other ways to punish or rehabilitate. No one should be in jail for unpaid fines, drugs and many other misdemeanours (ooooooo that's my name )
