On bias in the news media. The sick child angle is yet another example.

"That is assuming they overcome the odds. No one reports on the poor kid who died because the parents couldn’t afford healthcare, who was slowly poisoned from lead toxicity because they lived in a poor industrial area, or some other sad demise."

It's called knowing your market, non Hispanic whites still make up 60.1% of the US population. Not an excuse for ignoring minorities.

As Scrooge says, the poor need to die quicker. The evangelicals are leading the charge to not only force religion down people's throats, but to being back only select voting, poor houses, and controls on people's bodies.
