Most of the best made nucs are from Europe. Now some of Europe is going off nuclear. India made a big nuclear deal, 5 or so years ago to build 8 or more reactors. They hired all European companies for all but one reactor and said publicly that picking an American company was pure politics. When I say Europe I am not including Russia.
Have you seen the Russian nuclear barges they are selling to small cities? Essentially the barges sit on the water with what amounts to two reactors designed for naval vessels. They can power 50k or more households.

@Beowulfsfriend Most people don’t realize that fossil fuel plants produce dramatically more radiation than nuclear power plants from materials native to fossil fuels like radon and trace amounts to radium, uranium etc...

@Willow_Wisp Aside from breeder reactors, I've been much more open to nuclear power much of my life. I'm from Central PA and wasn't there for Three Mile Island, but that was an elder and poorly run reactor. From my parents' house you can see the glow of lights from the Peach Bottom reactor, 40 miles South of TMI.

@Beowulfsfriend I was a Navy nuke. Had to find an alternative so I became a programmer. I do my grim reaper stuff for kicks.
