LINK A ‘Jim Crow jury’ prisoner fights for freedom | The Lens

A story of one non unanimous jury conviction and the racist history of the law that allowed it. There are around 1500 people serving life without parole sentences in Louisiana, having been convicted by such a jury. I know some of the guys serving time under this law from when i worked in the prison. I hope justice will soon be served.
