Follow up to a previous post I made about the guy arrested for a supposed parole violation before he was released on parole. The state of Louisiana has FINALLY set him free.

Without a doubt. In many ways it's worse than Texas. We have about 1500 people serving life without parole who were convicted by a non unanimous jury- a practice put into place during reconstruction as a way to make sure black jurors didn't keep them from convicting too many people. Hoping the Louisiana Supreme Court overturns those this year.
