Exciting New Technology Allows Highway in Wales to Get Paved With Recycled Diapers

In what might be a world-first, more than 100,000 dirty, disposable diapers are being used to help pave a road in west Wales. This is a pilot project with intriguing environmental implications, because a proliferation of “diaper highways” could significantly help to reduce the problem of the mountains of disposables thrown away every year that end up as waste in landfills.

So, they’re now paving roads with used diapers? Well, I guess they don’t call it the “Ass-phalt Industry” for nothing. Anyway, nice to hear they’re finally going green - or shall I say brown? And, according to “Big Asphalt,” the road to hell is apparently paved with “recycled diapers.” However, when asked if they thought the project will be a success, they would only say “that Depends.” Now, currently - the technology is only being tested in Wales, but the hope is this innovation will eventually spread to other incontinents.

Of course, it goes without saying workers are gonna have to deal with a lot of shit in order to get these damned roads paved. In fact, the Department of Highway Safety just put out a reminder, warning drivers that “even if this highway was made utilizing spent diapers, doesn’t mean you can just drive down the road and throw all your dirty diapers right out the car window.” Otherwise, you’ll have people saying things like “Honey, turn left here.” “Hell no, I don’t wanna drive down that stinkin’ road.

Now, I’m sure at this point, a lot of folks are thinking this crazy idea about making roads out of dirty diapers, sounds like a load of crap. And, who could blame them? After all, who the hell has ever heard of a road that already has “skid marks” all over it, before any vehicles have even passed over its pavement? All I can say is, if they’re now making roads out of “dirty diapers,” then I sure as hell don’t wanna know what the “Yellow Brick Road” was made out of!
