Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Sadly the British post office which has long had a bank, is now trying to move out of banking services, because with current low interest rates there is little profit in it. This is thanks to M. Thatcher who, "privatized" ( sold it to capitalists) our post office, leaving us as just about the only country in the world without a state post office.

But many Repugs have been pushing to privatize our PO, which was never supposed to be 'profit-making' (break even was the main goal), & at this point, under DeJoy have instead gutted it.
@phxbillcee Yep that is what happened here, they just kept the profitable bits and ditched all the public service bits.
