I always feel sorry for Doctors. God gets the credit when they save a life, they get the blame if someone in their care dies. My response to this to get the religious thinking is to ask them " What does god have against amputees?, He does miracles in hospitals all the time but never regrows an amputated limb". Does anyone else have a comeback to make the religious think about these things they say?

I never thought about amputees like that. It is funny to think that way. Sadly, I have a close friend that lost his hand due to fireworks. No one on the family was religious, after the whole incident, the whole family slowly converted back to religion. Him and his sister even went to get baptized.
I'm not gonna go there with your question to them, tired of listening about how God is great to those two. But you made me think of him.
