Communication amongst species
We all recognize that humans communicate verbally as well as through physical movements. Most notably we think of communication in terms of sight, sound, touch and even smell. Communication is the sending and receiving of signals.
it's theorized there are communications such as beings capable of communicating thoughts, emotions, ideas and statements via unknown or what some term paranormal methods. There is also scientific proof of brain to brain communication between humans. (https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/282217)
Are there communication avenues humans have yet to discover? I would certainly say yes. Are there creatures that can use these additional avenues? Unknown.
In terms of an intelligent alien species how would humans even be able to recognize communications if they were sending signals where we can't look? Best analogy I can think of would be like modern day humans trying to communicate with neanderthals using fiber optic signals (light pulses so fast the human eye can't detect them).
So much science left to discover it's fascinating. To me it feels like humankind is just beginning to awaken to the possibilities that exist.
