I found a decomposing dead fish that washed up from the lake when I was mowing this afternoon. I decided to play Indian and buried it about a foot down in my sickly asoaragus bed. If the cat doesn't dig it up it's bound to help some.
Be sure to update us on obvious changes to the crop, will you? I've always used Alaskan Fish Fertilizer on nearly everything in the garden, great results!
Hopefully a foot is too deep for a cat. Two years ago I had an alpha female rat invade my crawl space. I spent 3 weeks matching wits with her to no avail. Even though I left the entrance open at night she smelled a rat and didn't leave. Finally she died probably from starvation so I buried her, with respect, under a fig tree.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
