Blue spruces certainly grow up to be very large tree over the decades
here... about 60 feet tall and 20 feet wide at the base.
yes i had one at one of my past homes ,very tall and base really spreads out withthe branches touching the ground
Definitely "monsense" - you should have poured gravy on the ground & called the neighbour's dog over to find the bone. Bush turkeys are also very good. Failing that call the cops & tell them that you've buried the neighbour!
Wow. You are now my role model.
That plan is simply awesome. 🦺
@bigpawbullets I once had it happen. I cleaned out the kitchen sink grease trap & buried it 3 feet down. About 4 months later a bush turkey came along, dug it up & ate all 2-3 kilos of the stinking grease!
You weren't lazy; you were communing with the garden, a sort of non-religious spiritual meditation. Yeah, that's the ticket.
I'm thinking of moving some furniture tomorrow, rearranging the spare bedroom that is now my WFH office. I am sure I will be thinking similar things tomorrow. Your spruce looks like it is in a good home, I hope it flourishes.
