Does the pressure cooker not tenderise? I don't know as I've never tasted okra.
Not sure Bear once they become "woody" we set them aside for decorative use. When the larger ones dry their shells are like bottle gourds. Can be carved, stained/painted.... the seeds rattle so you can use them in pagan ceremonies..... if you're the Shaman.
