How to grow ginger.

Sloooooowwww grower, no, Sssslllllooooooooooowwww grower.
I'm going to try this, I had been planting it like potatoes where more eyes meant more stems and potatoes.
Did that not work at all?
@MsKathleen They came up about 6 inches and stopped
@glennlab The reason I wondered was because I once read that you “had” to start sweet potatoes from slips, but I had a sprouted organic sweet potato that I planted each of the sprouts in a big tub of organic container soil and got a tub full of sweet potatoes. And I loved the little blue flowers the plants produced along the way. So, I don’t necessarily think that what the experts say to do is the only way.
I might try ginger next summer, just for a change.
Me too. I love cold ginger tea with honey. Just grate about a thumb-sized piece and cover with 4 cups boiling water. Steep until cool, drain, add honey to taste, and serve. You can drink it warm, too.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
