I love them but this is a tough climate as March can be as cold as January...not this year, but for most of my life.

@Mooolah That's what I'm doing here in New Mexico. I'm learning about all the native plants here and how to incorporate them in my landscaping. 😉

@Redheadedgammy New Mexico has many different eco zones. I must say that cactus flowers are most beautiful. Xerces scaping is a great new attitude in habitat restoration & container gardening. Arid gardening is a whole new world to be discovered. Good for you.

@Mooolah I am embracing those beautiful cactus and other native plants here. I found an old strawberry pot when I moved here and planted different cactus in the little openings. It turned out great, and now a lot of my neighbors want to do the same thing!! I'd attach a picture but the site is not allowing pictures again....🤨
