Maybe , the garden is the kitchen garden , just outside the back door of this house ?
@kenriley I don't see it as an either or situation . If you're happiest living in a little old shack , by all means do . But just because you live in a nicer home , doesn't mean you can't have a little garden to piddle around in . I think I like the middle third of the house , with the garden in the rear , and more importantly , time enough to work in it .
That's what I want, with a few chickens.
@Sheannutt and chicken droppings for fertilizer, and chickies for bug control.
@HippieChick58 I have chickens for eggs and to work my compost and fertilizer my garden area. And guineas for pest control
Posted by FernappleIts that season again, blue sky and golden leaves, nature is the greatest designer, a Ginkgo in my garden. Also posted in photography.
