Remind me in the spring. I have such a small garden but who knows, maybe I will expand it.
Try a square foot garden plan, vertical in nature. I always plant too many things, but it works. Recommended reading: "Square Foot Gardening" by Mel Bartholomew, 1981.
Fortunately native Americans did not have to concern themselves with invasive insects, depleted soils and other matters, just had to contend with white folks (that not so fortunately).
Time for planting a fall garden which is easier to take care of than spring summer garden here in NC . I did try that this year but early summer was way too wet and august too dry and the corn ear worms got what did survive and butter nut squash were very small .
