I took my father and son to Yellowstone and Mt Rushmore for summer 2018. What a wonderful trip!

Yes I have, it's been over 20 years. We did a Colorado Mountain vaca when my son was 8 and that was one of the stops.
Did you stop by Devils Tower and Crazy Horse?
Beautiful, and yes, Zoom lenses might save your life.

Photographing wildlife I have seen more than one idiot get hurt and many more that should have been. The locals refer to bison as a 2000 pound can of whoop ass.
@glennlab I was videoing bison in Badlands National Park when the kids were little, The bison were moving and on the video we can hear my ex yelling at the kids to get back in the car. One of them did, she was so freaked (she was 5) she hid in the back seat. Might have been the only time we have on record of her doing what her dad demanded when he demanded.
