Thanks to several weeks of quite warm weather through the new year, the catkins on the hazels are early this year with us here in the UK. They look good now in the winter sun but we are just about to get the frost and snow hard. Not flowers as such but they are still a gift in the hedges round the garden. (Also in Dandelion Hunters.)
