M nectarine tree's first day of bloom, and and I think my hyacinths could use a little Viagra, but that's what happens when they are forced

It's a pretty tree. I would keep it for that, but if you have another tree you want, that's fine too, of course.

SO jealous here in Oregon! The garden centers haven't even set out stock, aside from some vege starts. Good news on 2 fronts: many of those are organic and non-GMO, and current weather forecast says last night was our last below freezing!!

I still have a chance of frost 2 nights this weekend, another reason that the nectarine tree is having it's last season, on most winters we don't get the chilling requirement, we have late freezes, and I live across the street from a park that is a squirrel haven, 5 nectarines in 20 years.

None had opened yet when I took the picture this morning, but about 2 dozen had opened by 4:15 this afternoon. By tomorrow about 25-50% should be open, then almost all by day 3 if the wether holds and no driving rains.

The hyacinths were in my kitchen, but like when I brought magnolia blooms in, they tore my nose up, so now they are on the porch, but yes very fragrant.
